This ultra-simplified waffle recipe contains just a handful of whole foods combined to form a quick and warm breakfast that’s top-notch for your tummy and free of refined ingredients.
1 apple, peeled and grated
3 tablespoons of ground flaxseed
2 tablespoons of raw local honey
A pinch of cinnamon
Combine all of the ingredients in a mixing bowl until moistened. Pour the batter in a waffle iron or cast iron skillet cook until done. Sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon and serve with honey.
